Union Campaigns Already Working

Some big companies have already agreed to scrap youth rates in 2006. The
Engineering, Printing & Manufacturing Union [1] have reached agreement with BP Oil to pay adult rates at BP owned petrol stations, and Unite Union [2] has announced that they too are in negotiations with Restaurant Brands to phase out youth rates. The National Distribution Union's [3] successful campaign to abolish youth rates at Postie Plus outlets in Hawkes Bay prompted the company to get rid of them at all stores. feb 06 rally
